Hello,

I just installed some new infinity kappas in my car and it caused some issues. As soon as they were installed and screwed into the door, the stereo will intermittently lose sound. You can only hear a dim hum from the sub if the sound is turned up. When I took the speaker off of the door (still connected but unscrewed from frame), the stereo works fine. I'm assuming that the screws are somehow grounding the speakers and causing the issues. Are there some screws that don't conduct electricity better than others? Does anyone have any experience with this and can maybe give me some other ideas to stop the grounding? I don't have the original speaker install screws and am using some regular metal screws.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
